Job summary

Ritchie Bros. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Vehicle Collection Driver Class 1 (26T Truck Nights out) to collect accident damaged vehicles from client locations, loading and delivering safely with a winch and recovery trucks. You will measure heights and ensure compliance with height, weight and road safety rules.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience.
• Recovery or car transporter experience is advantageous (full training provided).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Safety-first mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, organised, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Collect allocated vehicles from client and customer locations.
• Load, secure and unload vehicles safely.
• Follow all legal and company driving regulations.
• Accurately measure and record vehicle heights before every journey.
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service.
