Job summary

IAA Holdings, LLC (IAA), a Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers company, is seeking a Vehicle Collection Driver Class 1 in Doncaster to collect accident damaged vehicles from client locations using salvage/recovery trucks and a winch when required.

You will ensure safe loading, securing and unloading, measure vehicle heights, and comply with height, weight and road safety rules while delivering reliable, professional service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience.
• Recovery or car transporter experience is advantageous (full training provided).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Safety‑first mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, organised, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Collect allocated vehicles from client and customer locations
• Load, secure and unload vehicles safely
• Follow all legal and company driving regulations
• Accurately measure and record vehicle heights before every journey
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues
• Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service
