Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting a Class 1 Trunk Driver for our client in Dunstable. This is an ongoing temporary role with year-round stability offering full-time or part-time opportunities and varied shifts.

You will conduct trunk deliveries, perform vehicle checks, and uphold professional standards while providing excellent customer service. Weekend availability is essential for this 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driver Cards (Driving Licence, CPC and DIGI Cards) required.
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 licence & 2 years regular Class 1 driving experience.
• Max 6 penalty points accepted for minor offences (no DR or DD, CD offences).

Responsibilities

• Parcel & Mail Bulk Loads (Depot to Depot & Collections).
• Trunking Work, no handball.
• Conduct vehicle checks and maintain digital tachograph records.
• Drive to client standards; coaching and training provided.
• Adhere to Working Time Directive and Driving Hours regulations.
• Be a professional face of the brand when arriving at stores.
