Job summary

Menzies Distribution Solutions Ltd is seeking HGV Class 1 tramper drivers for our Daventry team. You will deliver and collect products for our client, providing a first-class service with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Expect 48-hour weeks with 05:00 starts, on-site parking and a Tuesday-Saturday pattern. The role requires a full UK C+E licence and a good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations.

Qualifications

• Full UK C+E licence.
• 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No previous disqualifications.

Responsibilities

• General driving duties, delivering and collecting for client locations.
• Delivering product for client and customer.
• Using electronic POD, with training provided.
• Assisting with loading and unloading.

HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for numerous experienced HGV Class 1 Trampers to join our team in Daventry. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customer, providing a first class service with our team in Devizes.

The Details:

• Salary: £43,818.76 Per Annum / £17.55 Per Hour
• Shift Pattern: Tuesday - Saturday
• Start Times: 05:00
• Hours Per Week: 48 Hours
• Monthly Pay
• Parking Onsite

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other locations.
• Delivering product on behalf of our client and their customer
• Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
• Assisting with loading and unloading

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

• A full UK C+E licence
• 12 months previous class 1 driving experience preferred
• Excellent driving skills
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous disqualifications
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
