Position: HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers

Location: Cullompton, Devon

Salary: £16.50 - £20 per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers for immediate ongoing work in Cullompton. This role involves driving modern trucks within a well-organized logistics company that values its drivers.

Pay Rates

• Days (Monday to Friday): £16.50 per hour (PAYE only)
• Night out allowance: £25 per night

Responsibilities

• Driving shifts will not exceed 12 hours to ensure compliance with tachograph laws
• Nights out are required, with drivers being out from Monday to Friday
• Use of an app for all deliveries
• Operate modern, well-maintained trucks

Candidate Requirements

• Valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
• At least 6 months of experience
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Clean driving license with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Start Times & Shifts

Start times vary between 04:00 and 10:00. Shifts are typically 10 to 12 hours long, adhering to tachograph regulations.

The role is with a leading logistics distributor specializing in refrigerated and ambient goods across the UK. The client is known for treating drivers well and offers a 24-hour operation, including weekends and weekdays. Shifts can be ad-hoc or regular.
