Position: Class 1 Tramper Drivers

Job Overview

We are seeking Class 1 Tramper Drivers for immediate start in Bridgwater. This role involves trunking to RDCs and stores, using modern trucks, and requires a positive attitude. All deliveries must be logged via an app.

Pay Rates

• Days (Monday to Friday): £16.50 per hour (PAYE only)
• Night out: £25 per night

Responsibilities

• Trunking to RDCs and stores
• Driving modern, well-maintained trucks
• Using the app for all deliveries

Candidate Requirements

• Valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
• Minimum 6 months experience
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Card
• Clean driving license with no more than 6 points and no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes

Additional Details

Start times vary between 04:00 and 10:00. Shifts can be long, averaging 10 to 12 hours, in compliance with tachograph law. This ongoing work is for a client specializing in refrigerated and ambient goods distribution across the UK, known for treating drivers well.

The role involves working as part of a 24-hour operation, with shifts available on weekdays and weekends, including ad-hoc shifts.
