Job summary

Driver Require is recruiting a Class 1 Tramper Driver based in Lichfield to cover ambient goods deliveries to stores. Induction training will be provided by Lidl. Typical shifts run Tuesday to Saturday with start times between 12:00 and 17:00, and day-rate PAYE pay.

Positions involve store deliveries, loading/unloading, nightly allowances, and access to on-site facilities such as canteen and showers. Candidates will tramp in yard as required and work within a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Store deliveries using PPT.
• All self load/unload but may be assistance.
• Loading and unloading your vehicle.
• Training will be given by Lidl on induction.
• Collecting empty boxes, wrapping, food waste and pallets to take back to RDC.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Reporting any damage, defects, or wear-and-tear to the Transport Team.
• Driver can tramp in yard and will have access to canteen and showers on site.
