Job summary

Pure Staff are recruiting a Class 1 Day Tramper Driver to join a well‑established retail distribution operation in Warrington. This is a long‑term, ongoing role offering consistent shifts, flexible start times and the potential for permanent employment.

Role involves regional store deliveries, paperwork and daily vehicle checks. Shifts Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays; hourly pay ranges from £17.06 to £25.78 (with rolled‑up holiday pay).

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations
• Ability to complete POD and delivery paperwork accurately
• Comfortable with unloading cages and manual handling duties
• Reliable, professional and safety‑conscious approach

Responsibilities

• Complete between 1 and 3 deliveries per shift
• Deliver goods to retail stores across a designated region
• Unload cages at delivery locations
• Carry out handball duties where required
• Use electronic POD devices to accurately record deliveries
• Complete all delivery paperwork and documentation
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks
• Adhere to all road transport legislation and company procedures
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service
