Job summary

Driver Hire Nottingham is recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers to work with our client in NG15. The role runs from October through January, offering consistent work through the pre-Christmas period and into the New Year.

You will handle general haulage, tramp across Sunday to Thursday or Friday, with regular nights out and weekly pay. Overtime applies on Sundays and after 8 hours daily, with a £25 night-out allowance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• In-date Driver CPC.
• In-date Digital Tachograph Card.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) general haulage work.
• Tramping from Sunday through to Thursday or Friday, depending on the run.
• Complete vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
• Adhere to safety and professional driving standards.

Our client is currently expanding and is looking for reliable Class 1 drivers to join their operation. This is an ongoing role from October through to January, making it an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent work throughout the run-up to Christmas and into the New Year.

The Role

• Class 1 (C+E) general haulage work
• Tramping from Sunday through to Thursday or Friday, depending on the run
• Regular nights out required
• Ongoing work from October through to January
• Variety of general haulage work
• Safe and professional driving at all times
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Random drug and alcohol testing is carried out

Pay & Benefits

• Assignment rates from £18.75 per hour

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 12 months

• Full right to work in the UK
• Be comfortable with regular nights out and tramping
• Be willing to undertake random drug and alcohol testing
