Job summary

We are seeking experienced Class 1 Trampers to join a well-established transport operation in Shiremoor, Newcastle upon Tyne. Roles include day and night shifts with nights out required, delivering and collecting goods safely.

Earn £13.79 per hour on weekdays, £14.62 weekends, plus £22 night-out allowance. Regular ongoing work with immediate start available for reliable, professional drivers with CPC, Digi Tacho and a clean licence.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and Digi Tacho card required.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Proven previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Nights-out experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle in compliance with regulations.
• Complete deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects.
• Complete all required delivery paperwork accurately.
• Ensure goods are transported securely and safely.
• Comply with drivers hours and Working Time regulations.
• Maintain a professional attitude with customers and road users.
• Carry out nights out as required.

We are looking for experienced Class 1 Trampers to join our clients established transport operation in Shiremoor, Newcastle upon Tyne. We have opportunities available for both day-shift and night-shift Class 1 Trampers, with nights out required.

Key Responsibilities for a Class 1 Tramper:

Experience & Qualifications Needed for a Class 1 Tramper:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Previous tramping/nights-out experience desirable
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and Working Time Regulations
• No more than 6 points on licence
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
• Excellent timekeeping and communication skills

Both day-shift and night-shift positions are available, with nights out required.
