Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers for our team in Bournemouth. Night shifts run Monday to Friday with a start time of 02:00 to 10:45.

Role involves shunting trailers in the yard, careful yard manoeuvring, and clear communication with transport teams. Requires at least 6 months’ shunting experience, a UK Class 1 license (C+E), and a valid DCPC/digital tachograph card.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ shunting driving experience.
• Full UK Class 1 licence (C+E).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
• Successful completion of assessment (theory and practical).
• Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude.

Hours

Night Shunter Drivers

Pay Rates

Pay Rates £19.08 per Hour
