EMR Group is seeking a Class 1 Relief Driver to join our Bradford-based team. You will operate a range of heavy vehicles, transport materials between sites and customer locations, and cover for drivers during holidays or sickness.

This full-time role involves shifts across our Northern depots, occasional work in other regional transport departments, and nights out. EMR Group prioritises health and safety and provides training before deployment.

Competenze

• Hold an HGV Class 1 (CAT C +E) licence.
• Take a methodical approach to work.
• Be patient, able to work unsupervised, and stay calm under pressure.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers, and provide a high level of customer service.
• Be able to follow instructions, and know when to discuss changes to plans with your line manager.
• Be a good communicator, and be able to avoid conflict.
• Be able to recognise/anticipate hazardous situations and react accordingly.

Mansioni

• Operate a range of vehicles including Multideck 26t car transporter, 18t Car Transporter, 7.5t Car Transporter, 18t and 26t Skip Lorries, 32t Roll on/Roll off Lorries, and Class 1 Bulk Tippers; transport materials between sites and customer locations.
• Provide coverage for drivers during holidays or sick leave.
• Shift between Northern depots and occasionally work in other regional transport departments, including nights out; travel expenses reimbursed per policy.
