Job summary

Manpower in Gravesend area is seeking a powder tanker driver for a permanent role. You will drive from the Irlam Factory, with training and PPE provided, starting around 6am, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday mornings in busier periods.

Required are a Class 1 LGV licence, a valid Driver Qualification Card, and a current Digital Tachograph Card. Powder tanker experience is preferred but not essential. Excellent benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Class 1 LGV licence, Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Powder tanker experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive Powder Tankers from the Irlam Factory to building sites.
• Deliver to construction sites across scheduled routes.

Job description

Contract - Permanent

Location: Gravesend, Northfleet

Monday- Friday, days regular, normal start time 6am and you will be required to work occasional Saturday mornings during busier periods

Basic Salary -- for 40 hours £34,000 plus mandatory overtime - this will clear £40,000+ per annum working on Mon- Friday

Our Client are pioneers within the UK construction industry, and are national, operating across a network of nine manufacturing plants and are used by the major construction companies in the UK on housing, industrial, educational and infrastructure projects.

You will be working out of the Irlam Factory driving Powder Tankers, all training given and PPE included.

You will be delivering to building sites.

Required:

• Class 1 LGV licence, current Driver Qualification Card, current Digital Tachograph Card.

Preferred:

• Powder tanker experience preferable although not essential.
