Job summary

Manpower is seeking a permanent Class 1 LGV driver to operate Powder Tankers from the Irlam Factory, delivering to building sites across the UK. Role is Monday to Friday with 6am starts and occasional Saturday mornings during busy periods. Basic salary £34,000 for 40 hours plus overtime to exceed £40,000 per annum, with excellent company benefits package.

Qualifications

• Class 1 LGV licence, current Driver Qualification Card, current Digital Tachograph Card.
• Powder tanker experience preferable although not essential.
• WILL WELCOME NEW DRIVERS WITH MINIMUM EXPERIENCE.

Responsibilities

• Drive Powder Tankers from the Irlam Factory to building sites.
• Deliver to building sites.

Contract - Permanent

Location: Gravesend, Northfleet

Monday- Friday, days regular, normal start time 6am and you will be required to work occasional Saturday mornings during busier periods

Basic Salary -- for 40 hours £34,000 plus mandatory overtime - this will clear £40,000+ per annum working on Mon- Friday

Our Client are pioneers within the UK construction industry, and are national, operating across a network of nine manufacturing plants and are used by the major construction companies in the UK on housing, industrial, educational and infrastructure projects.

You will be working out of the Irlam Factory driving Powder Tankers, all training given and PPE included.

You will be delivering to building sites.

Required:

• Class 1 LGV licence, current Driver Qualification Card, current Digital Tachograph Card.

Preferred:

• Powder tanker experience preferable although not essential.
