Job summary

XPO Transport Solutions IT Europe is seeking a night-shift driver to support the Saint-Gobain contract. The role runs Monday to Friday nights with weekend overtime opportunities and a direct-delivery focus.

The role is paid under PAYE at a starting rate of £18.19 per hour for night shifts, pro rata to roughly £45,402.24 annual basic, with potential extra shifts available. You will perform interwork deliveries between British Gypsum depots, operate new equipment and trailers, and work in a

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• No more than six penalty points and no DD/DR/IN/CD endorsements.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.

Responsibilities

• Make interwork deliveries between British Gypsum depots.
• Drive new equipment and pull new trailers.
• Work in a safety-driven environment with Gold Standard FORS compliance.
• No manual handling; loads tipped by clients.

Logistics done differently. Pay, benefits and more. Youll be supporting our Saint Gobain contract on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working the night shift. The roles are direct deliveries and not multi-drop. Weekend overtime is also available, In return for your hard work, well offer you a competitive hourly rate of £18.19 for nights. Pro Rata this is equal to £45,402.24 basicfor night shift with the opportunity to work extra shifts on top! The role is PAYE and unfortunately, we cannot accept Ltd Companies.

What you'll do on a typical day

• Making Interwork deliveries between British Gypsum depots


• You will be driving new equipment and pulling new trailers


• Our sites are Gold Standard FORS compliant and you will be working in an environment that is highly safety driven


• No manual handling, all loads tipped by clients

What you need to succeed at XPO

• Well need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+Eentitlement)


• Youll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.


• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card


• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
