The Best Connection Eastbourne is seeking an experienced Class 1 (Cat C+E) Driver for ongoing, reliable work based in Uckfield. You will handle multidrop pallet deliveries, ensure secure loads, and maintain compliant driving under hours rules while delivering professional service to customers.

Qualifications

• Hold valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Previous Class 1 driving and multidrop experience preferred.
• Understanding of driver hours and compliance.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Multidrop pallet deliveries.
• Safely transporting goods and securing loads.
• Vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Complying with driver hours and working time regulations.
• Representing the company professionally on the road and with customers.
• Using hand held devices to complete deliveries and inform transport office of delays.
