Job summary

Montgomery Transport Group is seeking a delivery driver. The role provides day shifts, home at end of each shift, and a modern fleet. You will transport goods to customers, follow routes, and maintain vehicle standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence with CPC and Digi card, with up to 6 points, and at least 1 year of Class 1 experience. Reliability, flexibility, and good geographical knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (C+E) licence with CPC and Digi card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience.
• Previous commercial driving experience and good geographical knowledge.
• Experience completing vehicle check in/out sheets.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver a wide range of goods to customers on time.
• Follow delivery routes and communicate ETA clearly.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
• Drive company vehicles safely and in compliance with road regulations.
• Conduct daily vehicle and trailer inspections and complete documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles inside and out.
