Job summary

Flogas Britain is seeking a Class 1 Metered Barrel Driver to deliver LPG to customers safely and on schedule. You will join a large, active team and handle route coordination while maintaining high safety standards.

The role requires LGV Class 1, ADR in Tanks, Driver CPC, tachograph compliance, and a flexible approach for nights out as needed. You will be part of a supportive workforce with plenty of opportunities for development and career progression.

Qualifications

• Hold an LGV Class 1 licence with ADR in Tanks (minimum class 2 gases).
• Possess Driver CPC and valid Tachograph knowledge.
• Be safety focused with a calm, flexible approach to driving and teamwork.
• Willing to work Nights/Tramping as required at the depot.

Responsibilities

• Power bulk deliveries of LPG to homes and businesses across the area.
• Deliver on time and safely, adhering to routes and regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to coordinate deliveries and daily duties.
• Stay compliant with hours, tachographs and safety procedures.

Drivers are at the heart of Flogas. Powering our business, you’ll make bulk deliveries of LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) on time – and above all – safely, day in and day out. Because at Flogas, if it’s not safe, it’s not done. Simple.

Our Drivers work together to make sure everyone in the team understands their routes, offering assistance when needed, and helping each other get ready for the deliveries and the day ahead. What We’ll Need From You

• LGV Class 1 licence. Ideally, you’ll also have an ADR in Tanks with minimum class 2 gases.
• Driver CPC and valid Drivers Digital Tachograph Card, plus a sound knowledge of driving hours and tachograph regulations
• A calm, unflappable approach, and a commitment to ensuring everyone’s health, safety and wellbeing is protected in all that you do
• A willingness to keep in touch with the team and stay flexible, so together, we can do more
• A keenness to learn new ways of doing things so we can keep doing right by our customers and each other
• A willingness to have a DBS check that helps keep you, our customers and our people safe.
• A flexible approach to helping our customers as Nights out (Tramping) will be required as part of this role (Depending on Depot)
