Job summary

Bulkhaul is seeking experienced LGV Class 1 Drivers for our Purfleet/West Thurrock operations. You will transport bulk liquids and powders in tank containers across the UK, maintaining safety and compliance to deliver products efficiently.

Role includes 2–3 overnight stays weekly, with Rotations and ongoing CPC/DQC training. We offer a competitive hourly rate with overtime opportunities and flexible shift patterns to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ months Class 1 driving experience.
• LGV Class 1 license with Category C+E and UK driving eligibility.
• Driver CPC with DQC valid.
• ADR license for hazardous liquids (bulk liquids).
• Digital tachograph card and compliant hours records.
• Experience with tankers, pumps and valves advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations for dangerous goods.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and routes for timely deliveries.
• Ability to pass physical requirements for long hours and loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely transport of bulk liquids, gases and powders across the UK.
• Carry out pre-journey vehicle and trailer safety checks and report issues.
• Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and compliance records accurately.
• Load and unload bulk liquids per procedures, ensuring secure handling.
• Communicate professionally with clients and site staff during deliveries.
• Adhere to Working Time Directive and tachograph rules.
• Follow health and safety guidelines when handling hazardous materials.
