Job summary

Bulkhaul Ltd is seeking experienced Class 1 LGV drivers for UK-wide runs, including overnights. The role involves bulk liquids and powders in tank containers with mandatory safety and compliance standards.

You will perform safety checks, complete documentation, and maintain high safety levels while delivering on time and keeping clients satisfied. Night-outs are a regular part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid ADR license for hazardous liquids transport.
• Must hold LGV Class One (C+E) driving licence.
• Driver CPC training and DQC card required.
• Digital tachograph card required.
• Experience with tankers and bulk liquids preferred.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport bulk liquids, gases, and powders across the UK with adherence to ADR where applicable.
• Carry out daily vehicle and trailer safety checks before each journey.
• Complete and maintain paperwork, logs, and permits; ensure licenses are up to date.
• Load/unload cargo following company procedures while ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate professionally with clients and site staff to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Adhere to driving hours rules and tachograph regulations; manage rest periods.
• Follow PPE rules and participate in safety training; report incidents promptly.
