Bulkhaul is seeking experienced LGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Middlesbrough team. You will transport bulk liquids and powders in tank containers across the UK, with night-outs averaging 2–3 per week, and a focus on safety, compliance and on-time deliveries.

This full-time role offers an hourly rate with overtime potential, training on DCPC, and a company pension. Applicants should have ADR for liquids, Driver CPC, and a valid DQC, plus solid knowledge of UK roads and load security.

Competenze

• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Must hold LGV Class One license (C+E) with CPC.
• ADR license for liquids; hazardous materials handling.
• Digital tachograph card and CPC ongoing training.
• Experience with bulk powders and tankers is preferred.

Mansioni

• Transport bulk liquids, gases and powders safely across the UK.
• Comply with ADR regulations where applicable.
• Carry out daily vehicle and trailer safety checks.
• Report mechanical issues to fleet maintenance.
• Keep vehicle clean and fit for transport.
• Complete and maintain paperwork (delivery notes, logs).
• Ensure permits and licenses are up to date.
• Follow Bulkhaul safety procedures for loading/unloading.
• Load/unload bulk cargo safely and securely.
• Verify tanks/equipment are cleaned between loads.
• Operate pumps and valves safely during loading/unloading.
• Communicate with clients and site staff to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Address customer concerns with management promptly.
• Follow Working Time Directive and tachograph laws.
• Coordinate driving times and rest periods with Manager.
• Wear PPE and follow health & safety guidelines.
