Explore Transport Limited in St Neots is seeking a Class 1 HIAB Operative to join our transport division. You will read maps, navigate routes with GPS, and ensure safe loading and unloading with proper securing techniques while meeting delivery deadlines.

The role is permanent, with a Monday–Friday (Tramping) pattern and benefits including training to maintain CPC hours, full PPE, and career progression opportunities within a FORS Gold accredited company.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and CPC with tachograph card required.
• CPCS/ALLMI/Slinger Signaller qualification required.
• 2+ years HGV driving experience preferred.
• Good map reading and GPS navigation skills are essential.

We are currently recruiting for drivers to join our team on the following shift pattern - Monday to Friday (Tramping).

Skills/Knowledge

• Fully competent HGV driver with a minimum 2 years proven experience
• Ability to read and interpret maps and use GPS navigation systems effectively
• Strong organisational and time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
• Load and unload securely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing techniques are applied
• Adhere to all traffic laws, road regulations and road safety standards while operating the vehicle
• Have good communication skills to quickly understand instructions including movement orders and liaise effectively with colleagues and customers.

• WAH Certificate (preferred).
