Advance Staff in Birmingham is seeking experienced Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing refrigerated trailer work. You will deliver chilled goods to distribution centres, RDCs, supermarkets and commercial customers, with daily vehicle checks and adherence to DVSA rules.

We offer competitive hourly pay, weekly pay, regular ongoing work, day/night/weekend shifts, flexible patterns, and a supportive transport team with a well-maintained modern fleet.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Fridge trailer experience desirable but not essential.
• Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation.

Responsabilités

• Drive Class 1 (CE) refrigerated trailers.
• Deliver chilled and temperature-controlled goods to distribution centres, RDCs, supermarkets, and commercial customers.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks.
• Monitor and maintain trailer temperature settings during deliveries.
• Complete delivery paperwork and use electronic POD systems where required.
• Ensure compliance with DVSA regulations, driver hours, and Working Time Directive.
