Our Customer

Our long-established logistics client based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description

Work involves Class 1 HGV driving tramping across the UK to manufacturing sites or similar locations. Some back hauling may be required, so staying in touch with the transport team is essential. The client has depots across the UK, and some night outs could be at these depots, which offer better facilities.

Licence Requirements

• HGV Class 1 Licence (minimum of 12 months experience)
• Up-to-date CPC for your Class 1
• Up-to-date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must

• Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Be punctual
• Maintain a smart appearance as you will represent the company (no jeans, etc.)
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained
• Possess good communication skills, as you may need to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary

All rates are PAYE only, with no umbrella or limited company options:

• Days: £15.00 per hour
• Night out allowance: £25.00 per night out
