Job summary

Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe is seeking Class 1 (C+E) drivers for work with established customers across the Scunthorpe, Grimsby and surrounding areas. We offer weekly pay and a range of assignments from shifts to ongoing work. Flexible days and opportunities to pick up extra shifts.

Ideal for drivers with CPC and digital tachograph cards aiming for reliable, regular work with local businesses. Full-time, part-time and ad-hoc options available.

Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe are looking for Class 1 (C+E) drivers to work with a range of established customers across the Scunthorpe, Grimsby and surrounding areas.

We have a variety of assignments available, from individual shifts and holiday cover through to regular ongoing work. Whether you're looking for five days a week, a few extra shifts, or something to fit around other commitments, we'd like to hear from you.

The work

Because we work with a number of different customers, assignments can include:

• Curtain sider work
• Building materials and site deliveries
• General haulage
• Local and regional deliveries
• Day work and early starts
• Ongoing and ad-hoc assignments

If you have additional skills or experience - such as Moffett / truck-mounted forklift experience - please let us know, as this is particularly useful for some of our customers.

What we're looking for

You'll need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good vehicle handling and reversing skills
• A professional and customer-focused approach
• Reliability and a willingness to work with different customers

Previous Class 1 experience is preferred, but we'd still encourage you to speak to us about your circumstances.
