Job summary

Fowler Welch in Westerleigh, near Bristol, is hiring professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for a permanent, full-time position delivering to RDCs, farms and packhouses across the UK. You will join a supportive transport team, prioritising safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with 05:00 starts; pay ranges from £13.43 to £22.83 per hour depending on shift. Applicants should hold a valid C+E licence, DCPC and Tachograph cards, and be committed to

Qualifications

• Must have valid C+E licence and DCPC & Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points, no DD/DR convictions
• New Pass drivers considered
• Understand drivers hours and WTD legislation
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver to RDCs, farms and packhouses across the UK
• Complete paperwork accurately
• Perform daily vehicle checks
• Adhere to tachograph rules and WTD regulations
• Maintain health and safety procedures onsite
• Aim for fuel efficiency targets
• Support on-site health and safety requirements
• Other reasonable duties as required
