Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join a busy operation based in Stallingborough, Lincolnshire, delivering across the UK.

You will be responsible for safe, efficient transport of a variety of freight, performing daily vehicle checks, securing loads and maintaining tachograph records.

This is a reliable role with a respected logistics operator offering steady start times and ongoing work.

Qualifications

• Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles across the UK.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Driving modern Class 1 (C+E) vehicles throughout the UK
• Transporting a variety of freight and loads
• Making deliveries to a wide range of customer locations and sites
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are operated safely
• Safely securing and transporting loads in line with company procedures
• Completing delivery paperwork and digital tachograph records accurately
• Maintaining a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers and delivery sites
• Complying with all relevant UK driving legislation, Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Ensuring all company policies and health & safety procedures are followed
