Job summary

DPD is seeking an experienced HGV driver to support nationwide collections and deliveries across the UK. You will manage trailer swaps, oversee live loading/unloading, and ensure routes are accurate using GPS and digital tachographs.

You will be the face of DPD, building professional relations with dispatchers and customers nationwide. We value a safety-first mindset and calm, reliable performance under pressure, delivering excellent service while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• You’re a resourceful problem-solver who can work under pressure and hit deadlines whilst delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on HGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
