Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to support deliveries of ambient products across busy urban and suburban routes in the UK. You will operate modern fridge trailers and multi-drop to ensure timely, safe arrivals.

You will need a full Class 1 (C+E) licence, a valid DIGI card, and a CPC card. Training is available, and independence plus strong communication are valued at DFDS. City driving and safety awareness are essential in this challenging role.

Qualifications

• Full Class 1 (Category C+E) licence is required.
• DIGI card and CPC card are mandatory.
• Experience with fridge trailers or curtainsiders is a plus, training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating Class 1 vehicles to deliver ambient products.
• Using curtainsider trailers and ensuring goods are secure.
• Making multi-drop deliveries across various locations.
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Keeping logbooks up to date and following road safety rules.
