Job summary

Royal Mail in Plymouth is seeking a full-time HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) to operate depot-to-depot routes with minimal loading and unloading. You will begin each shift with safety checks and work across mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 licence for 12+ months, CPC and Digital Tachograph cards, and have 180 days of recent Class 1 experience; DBS and vetting checks are required. Ongoing temporary work is available with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence (Category CE) for at least 12 months.
• Hold CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between Royal Mail depots.
• Follow planned routes with minimal loading/unloading.
• Perform vehicle safety checks before each shift.
• Work across morning, evening and weekend shifts.
