Job summary

Evri in Thames Valley is seeking a HGV Driver Class 1 Bulk to join our permanent team. You will drive a Volvo tractor unit from a modern fleet, with fridges and leather seats, on a 45-hour week, Monday to Friday, typically starting around 7–8am.

This role requires a Class 1 licence, a Driver CPC card and completion of DCPC training hours or progress toward them, plus strong knowledge of Road Transport Laws and safe driving practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of road transport laws and safety requirements.
• Must hold Driver CPC qualification card.
• DCPC training hours completed or in progress.
• Strong focus on safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Volvo lorry from a modern fleet, on a 45-hour week.
• Plan routes and manage stops with 4–6 per shift.
• Ensure timely loading/unloading and inspect vehicle daily.
