Job summary

North Park Logistics is seeking an experienced HGV Driver Class 1 to join our team in Hawkhurst, East Sussex. You will be responsible for loading, transporting and delivering merchandise across the UK, with daily vehicle checks and strict adherence to tachograph and working hours rules.

The role requires a Category C+E licence, CPC and Digi Card, and at least 2 years of HGV driving experience. Flexibility for weekend work and nights out is expected, with a competitive salary and pension on offer.

Qualifications

• Licence: Minimum of Category C+E (Class 1) Licence.
• CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card) must be held.
• At least 2 years of HGV driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Load security: ensure loads are secured and safely transported.
• Transport & deliveries: safely transport and deliver merchandise across locations.
• Vehicle checks: perform daily vehicle and equipment checks for roadworthiness.
• Compliance: adhere to vehicle safety, tachograph and hours regulations.
• Customer interaction: address queries and relay to depot staff.
• Paperwork: complete relevant paperwork accurately in line with standards.
• Administrative duties as required.
• Be prepared for weekend work and nights out.
