Job summary

R&V Group is seeking Class 1 drivers for a well known and respected company in the UK. This role focuses on depot-to-depo trunking, timely deliveries, accurate paperwork, and strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, with a strong emphasis on efficiency and compliance.

You’ll work within the transport department, managing time per regulations and ensuring PODs are completed correctly. The position offers ongoing work with weekly pay, flexible start times, and 24/7 on-call support for all

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Class 1 driving
• National Insurance Number
• Right to work in the UK
• Full UK driving licence
• Good level of English
• Flexibility in starting times

Responsibilities

• Depo to Depo, Trunking.
• Deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule.
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department.
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
• Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
• Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.
