Job summary

DCS Recruitment is seeking reliable Class 1 Drivers (HGV) for day shifts in Coventry. You will trunk between hubs and depots and carry out 2 to 3 deliveries or collections per shift while safely operating a Class 1 vehicle.

Shifts run 5 out of 7 days (Sunday to Friday) with start times 10:00 to 15:00. Salary is £19.88 per hour inclusive of holiday pay, offering a dependable schedule and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 (Category C&E) licence.
• CPC card and Digital Tachograph required.
• Good understanding of health and safety.
• Professional, punctual and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Drive and trunk between hubs and depots.
• Carry out 2 to 3 deliveries or collections per shift.
• Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and required paperwork.
