Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited in England is seeking a Class 1 CE HGV Driver for day shift. You will collect high-value stock from customer warehouses, transport across the network, perform vehicle safety checks, and keep accurate transport records.

This role offers regular, daytime work, long-term stability, and a supportive Transport and Logistics Team; benefits include a uniform and PPE, holiday entitlement, and a pension.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 1 CE Licence and at least 12 months CE experience.
• Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card must be valid and in date.
• Licence must carry no more than 6 penalty points.
• Comfortable managing multiple collections during a shift.
• Familiar with Drivers' Hours Regulations and tachograph requirements.
• Committed to safety, professionalism and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled collections and return stock to designated depots.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Maintain accurate transport records and documentation.
• Provide a professional service at customer sites.
• Keep vehicles safe, clean and roadworthy.
