Job summary

Robert Dyas is seeking a skilled Class 1 HGV Driver to join our Hemel Hempstead Distribution Centre, delivering goods safely and on time.

You will conduct thorough vehicle inspections, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with the team to ensure efficient multi-drop deliveries, including kerbside tail-lift drops.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 2 years' experience driving Class 1 HGVs.
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
• Ability to read and follow GPS and navigation systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physically fit for handling heavy loads.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries, including kerbside with a tail lift.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to and from our locations. You'll ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed efficiently, while adhering to strict safety regulations and company procedures.
