Job summary

CDI - Russell Taylor in Wrexham is recruiting an experienced Class 1 HGV driver for our client's general haulage operation. This role offers ongoing work with a Temp-to-Perm path and starts ASAP.

You will drive on a 4 on / 4 off pattern, start between 5:00am and 7:00am, with 8–12 hour shifts and a few drops per shift. No tramping required and a reliable, professional attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• Able to pass company induction and drug test.
• Reliable and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 HGV driving for general haulage.
• Start times between 5:00am and 7:00am.
• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.
• 8–12 hour shifts with a few drops per shift.
• No tram ping required.

Skills

Class 1 (C+E) licence

12 months' Class 1 experience

UK road knowledge

Reliable attitude

General haulage experience preferred
