Job summary

NEXT plc is seeking Class 1 drivers based at our Bristol Regional Service Centre to support deliveries to South West and South Wales stores. You may also undertake occasional third-party collections. Expect 1–5 drops daily, across 7 days, with an average of 45 hours per week.

Shifts include AM start options and a safety-first culture. The role offers pay rates with uplifts, overtime possibilities, and a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) license with CPC card.
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 HGV driving experience including coupling/uncoupling trailers.
• Maximum of 6 points on licence and no convictions or disqualifications.

Responsibilities

• Drive 1–5 drops per day to South West stores and South Wales stores.
• Be available for shifts across 7 days (including weekends) with an average 45 hours per week.
• Adhere to a 'Safety First' mindset and company policies.

Job description

We are looking for a number of Class 1 Drivers to support our operations from our Bristol Regional Service Centre to our South West and South Wales retail stores, with an occasional third party collection included.

You will do 1-5 drops per day, 5 over 7 days which include weekends & 45 hours per week. You will be required to start between following start times.

AM shift: starting between 03:00 & 09:00

Pay rates and benefits:

15% uplift per hour

Day rates (06:00 - 22:00)

Mon - Fri - £18.05 (basic rate)

Saturday - £21.05

Sunday - £23.05

Night rates (22:00 - 06:00)

Sun - Thur - £21.05

Friday - £23.05

Saturday - £25.60

Overtime rates

Weekly overtime - £23.47 (x1.3 basic rate)

6th shift/rest day rate - £27.08 (x1.5 basic rate)
