Job summary

Recruitment Helpline currently seeks an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join a well-established business in Sidcup. The role is full-time and permanent with an hourly rate of £18-£20 depending on certificates and licence, with typical hours 7:00-17:00, Monday to Friday and overtime on Saturdays paid at time and a half.

You will deliver and collect vehicles for repair, assist with all vehicle movements, and be the first face-to-face contact for customers when collecting vehicles.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and CPC preferred.
• Experience driving a Goods Vehicle for about 1 year.
• Able to manage a day-to-day driving route within a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect vehicles for repair.
• Assist in all types of vehicle movements.
• Be the first face-to-face contact with customers when collecting vehicles.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: £18-20 hourly rate, dependent on certificates and licence.

Location: Sidcup.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00- 17:00 (45hrs per week) may be required to work additional hours, this may include Saturdays which is paid time and a half.

About The Role

What do we look for

• Be able to manage a driving route on a day-to-day basis within the team
• Has driven a “Goods Vehicle” for approx 1 year
• Driver CPC Is preferred
