Job summary

DFDS in the United Kingdom is seeking a Class 1 Driver to operate C+E vehicles, support fridge work where required and ensure delivery notes are signed on delivery. You will follow road transport regulations and accurately record activities in line with legislation.

Qualifications

• Full HGV Class 1 licence with valid DIGI and CPC cards.
• Experience with fridge work is desirable but not essential.
• Strong English verbal and written communication, plus excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure delivery notes are signed on delivery.
• Adhere to road transport regulations and Working Time Directive.
• Accurately record activities in line with legislation and company requirements.
• Assist with unloading as needed.

About The Role

• Working 4o4o days
• Ensure all delivery notes are signed upon delivery
• Adhere to road transport regulations.
• To accurately record all activities in line with legislation and company requirements
• To work within the remits of the European Drivers Hours regulations.
• To work within the remits of the Working Time Directive.
• Assisting with unloading

About You

You will need a full HGV Class 1 Licence, valid DIGI Card, valid CPC Card, experience with fridge work, good English verbal, written skills and excellent customer service skills. You must be over the age of 21 and have 2+ years experience driving C+E vehicles. Experience in fridge work is desirable but not essential.
