Job Description: Class 1 HGV Driver

24-7 Recruitment Services, acting as an Employment Business, is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV drivers on behalf of our client in Northampton (NN4).

We require Class 1 HGV Drivers to work on an ongoing basis. The role involves trunking goods from their RDC to client stores throughout the UK. We offer a variety of working patterns and start times each day. Some handballing may be required on deliveries.

Requirements for Class 1 HGV Drivers:

• Valid Class 1 / C+E License
• Clean driving license with no points
• Valid Tacho and CPC cards
• Minimum of 2 years' experience, or 1 year of relevant retail driving experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate modern trucks for a rapidly growing business in the Midlands
• Provide long-term ongoing work

Shift Pattern:

• Tuesday to Saturday
• Start time between 04:00 and 12:00

Compensation:

PAYE rates:

• Days: £18.07 per hour
• Overtime after 8 hours on days: £27.11 per hour
• 6th days shift: £26.32 per hour
