Job description

Driver Hire Dundee are recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver to work with our client from their Dundee depot. There are various shift patterns on this contract in line with the rota, so we can generally work around your availability.

The work involves trailer changeovers, trunks, RDC deliveries and traction depending on the daily workload. You should be well versed in all aspects of Class 1 work to ensure you can cover any contract as required.

Class 1 HGV Driver requirements:

• Category CE entitlement on your UK driving licence


• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph


• No more than 6 live points on your licence for minor offences

In return, the Class 1 HGV Driver can expect:

• £16.81 per hour days (PAYE inc hol pay)


• £17.93 per hour nights, Saturday & Sunday (PAYE inc hol pay)


• Weekly pay


• Regular hours to suit your availability
