Location: Edinburgh
Start Times: Early morning starts (varied depending on routes)
Pay Rate: £16.81 - 18.49 depending on start times

Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well-established manufacturer and distribution clients, for a Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Driver to join their logistics team on an ongoing temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver to represent a respected brand, operating high-standard vehicles and supporting nationwide deliveries of plastic products to commercial clients.

Your Responsibilities:

Operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and compliantly

Carry out trunking and long-distance deliveries across the UK

Complete all necessary paperwork and delivery documentation accurately

Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues

Represent our client professionally with their clients and customers

What We're Looking For:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card

Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience

A strong understanding of driver hours and road regulations

A reliable, safety-conscious individual with good communication skills
