Job summary

A leading logistics company is seeking three experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for deliveries in the Bolton area. The role involves operating lorries, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This position offers a 4 on 2 off shift pattern, with full training provided. Initially for three months, it could lead to a permanent role.

Job description

We are seeking three experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for our client based near Bolton.

You will need to be 25 or older and have held your Class 1 (Cat C & E) licence for three years and have no more than 6 points.

We require 2 x day drivers and 1 x night driver

4 on 2 off shift pattern

The role will involve completing deliveries to retail outlets. (3 stores per shift)

All goods will be palletised and deliveries will be made using an electric pallet truck

The requirement is initially for a period of three months until the end of August but could be extended or lead to a permanent position

Full training will be provided and during the training and induction period you will work alongside an experienced driver who will show you the procedures.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
