Job summary

Resourcing Group is seeking an experienced Class 1 driver for a general haulage role across the UK. You will be responsible for safe deliveries and collections, vehicle checks, and accurate paperwork in a professional environment.

The role requires a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with prior HGV 1 experience preferred. LTD/PAYE options and regular AM/PM shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Have a valid Driver CPC.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• HGV Class 1 experience preferred within general haulage.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally.
• Complete general haulage deliveries and collections.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after shifts.
• Ensure loads are secured correctly.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery.
• Communicate professionally with customers and transport planners.
• Adhere to drivers' hours, tachograph and road safety regulations.
• Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and presentation.
