Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Raunds (NN9 6NY) is recruiting a Class 1 Driver for weekend work. This role involves shifts typically starting between 04:00 and 06:00, on a weekend-only basis.

As part of the team, you will perform pre- and post-shift checks, operate a Class 1 curtain-sider, and deliver to RDCs, with all deliveries documented accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 licence, CPC and Digi Tacho card.
• Clean driving record with limited penalty points.

We’re proud to support our brand‑new partnership withBeko, operating from our Raunds site (NN9 6NY) and playing a key role in the smooth flow of one of the UK’s most trusted household appliance brands.

As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll be employed on a full‑time, permanent basis, workingWeekends only, (Saturday and/or Sunday) with shifts start times usually of between 04:00-06:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Carry out thorough pre shift and post-shift vehicle checks, ensuring your vehicle is safe, compliant and ready for the road
• Operate aClass 1 curtain-sidervehicle professionally and safely
• Delivering to RDC's
• Complete deliveries with no manual tipping required.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and delivery documentation, ensuring it is submitted on time

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A valid Class 1 driving licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho card
• A clean driving record withno more than 6 penalty points(excluding DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements)
• A strong awareness of site Health & Safety standards and the safe movement of vehicles in a busy yard environment
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
