Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking experienced HGV drivers for ongoing, full-time work across Team Valley and Washington. You will drive Class 1, Class 2 or 7.5T vehicles as needed, with all hours paid at the Class 1 rate.

Role includes multi-drop deliveries across the region, using a handheld scanner for paperwork, and strict safety standards. Flexible to depot locations and independent work in a busy environment are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Minimum 1 year of professional HGV driving experience.
• Must hold CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Be flexible to operate Class 1, Class 2 and 7.5T vehicles as required by the business.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries across the region.
• Use a handheld scanner and app for tracking and paperwork.
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured and delivered on time.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with transport team and customers.
• Follow routes with regular, time-sensitive deliveries.
