Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to join our Mossend (Scotland) transport team. You will support major UK retailers with reliable deliveries across Scotland, maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to legal time constraints.

You will work 48 hours per week on a flexible shift pattern (Any 4 or 5 from 7), with comprehensive earnings including shift allowances, pension, and ongoing training. GXO University and wellbeing programmes support long-term development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full EU licence with category C+E entitlement.
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• Must hold Digital tachograph card.
• No more than 6 current penalty points on licence.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD.AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction within the last 5 years.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with staff and customers.
• Experience of multi-drop deliveries and warehouse work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to UK retailers in High Street or Retail Parks across Scotland.
• Ensure all documentation is completed and returned accurately at the end of each shift.
• Adhere to time restrictions under current legislation.
• Assist with loading/unloading and return of empty cages and pallets.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with store staff and following company policies.
