Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting for a Class 1 Driver based at Marston Gate (MK43 0UL). This ongoing temporary role involves trunking, parcel/delivery tasks, and strict compliance with tachograph rules. We offer long-term opportunities with various shift start times to fit around a 24/7 operation.

Requirements include a valid UK Driving Licence (Class 1), CPC and DIGI cards, and at least 1 year Class 1 driving experience, with up to 6 penalities. Weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence (Class 1)
• CPC and DIGI cards required
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 licence with 12 months driving experience
• Max 6 penalty points accepted for minor offences
• Weekend availability essential for 24/7 operation
• Store deliveries experience preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• Parcel & Mail Bulk Loads and trunking work
• Conduct vehicle checks and maintain tachograph records
• Adhere to client standards and be coached/trained
• Manage Working Time Directive and driving hours to stay compliant
• Present a professional image when arriving at stores
