Job summary

JRL Group Ltd. seeks experienced Class 1 drivers for our construction logistics operation with Nottingham, Elstree, Biggleswade, and other locations. You will operate predominantly flatbed trailers, transporting precast concrete, steel, containers, formwork, and scaffolding while securing loads with straps.

Tramping roles include multiple nights out weekly, full-time hours. Offered pay includes £19.00/hour Mon-Fri, £21.00/hour Sat/Sun, and £22.50/night out; parking fees reimbursed weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence and Driver CPC.
• Valid digital tachograph driver card.
• Proven experience with flatbed trailers and strapping of loads.
• Willingness to work away from home during the week (tramping positions only).

Responsibilities

• Operating predominantly flatbed trailers.
• Transporting a mix of construction products, including precast concrete, steel, containers, formwork and scaffolding, and facade panels.
• Securing loads by strapping, so previous experience of load restraint is required.
• Tramping positions, with multiple nights out available during the working week.
• Full Time position.
